What Personal Information Do You Collect and How is it Used?
Our primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a quality and customized experience. We collect the following types of information from our customers:
A) Information You Provide to Us
We may receive and store any information you enter on our website, telephone service, or provide to us in any other way. The personal information you provide may be used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain products and services, customizing the content you see, and communicating with you about new products or service advisories.
B) Automatic Information
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our website. We automatically receive and record certain "traffic data" on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested. We use this traffic data to help diagnose problems with our server, analyze trends and administer the website. We only use this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, and not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us to figure out how often customers use parts of the website or services so that we can make the website appealing to as many customers as possible, and improve our services. We also record calls and store certain information when you interact with our telephone service in order that you can properly access the service and receive a quality experience.
C) E-mail and Survey Communications
Rondee may send you email messages from time to time in regards to informational updates about our service and/or requests for your feedback on how the service is performing.
Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we assign to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our website are visited and by how many people. The "help" portion of the toolbar on the majority of browsers will direct you on how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to command the browser to tell you when you receive a new cookie, or how to fully disable cookies.
Will You Share Any of the Information You Receive?
Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. However, we never rent or sell your personal information to anyone. Unless we have your consent, we share your Personal Information only as described below.
Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control:
We are affiliated with other businesses and work closely with some of them. In certain limited situations, we provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. You can easily recognize when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, and we will only share customer information that is related to such transactions with that affiliated business.
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information for the above purposes.
In some cases, we may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Moreover, if our assets or business were acquired, or in the event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, customer information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this policy.
Protection of Rondee and Others:
We may release Personal Information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with the law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Rondee, our employees, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for purposes of fraud protection.
Accessing your information
An important aspect of protecting the security of your personal information is your own diligence in not allowing unauthorized access to your user name and password or to your computer.
